EMPI's Black T Bars replace the original bumpers and bumper brackets with a light weight T bar bumperette. The T bars bolt in place of the original brackets and stick out past the fender. The black T bars fit the front or rear of 1968 through 1973 Standard Beetles and 1971 through 1973 Super Beetles. The bumper bars are sold in pairs.
Please Note: The #3875 t-bars from EMPI are covered in a very cheap black paint to prevent rust during storage. They are not powder coated. We strongly recommend stripping and re-painting them with a higher quality paint before installation to prevent rusting when exposed to the elements.
